Houston Art Car Show 2017

2017 Houston Art Car Parade

The Houston Art Car Parade was the highlight of a three-day celebration of the drive to create, Art Car Weekend.  Nearly 250 jaw-dropping cars, bikes, skaters, and motorized creatures rolled along Smith Street in Downtown Houston, on April 8, 2017, making it the largest gathering of its kind in the world, and one of the biggest annual events in Houston.

The parade attracted 250+ vehicles and other entries from 23 states along with Canada and Mexico.  There was a live audience of some 250,000+ spectators. Parade entries included anything on wheels from unicycles to lawnmowers to cars and go-carts.

Houston Art Car Parade Weekend honored the DRIVE to CREATE and the ARTIST IN EVERYONE. It showed the creative, energetic and fun side of Houston, the Art Car Capital of the World!
