Kimma Wreh – Director – Excel Magazine International
Wreh is Director of Excel Magazine International (an international accredited media house) with over 50,000 copies distributed in Africa, UK, Canada and USA. Kimma also provides community service to assist people with disabilities in Africa and the US and serves as President of the Board of Directors for KDE Disability Africa Foundation (a USA 501C3 non-profit organization).
A humantarian and fashion industry veteran, Wreh is an award winning Fashion Designer, Creative Director and Founder of TeKay Designs Inc, an international fashion label (founded in 1998) of bridal and formal attire with manufacturing in Houston and West Africa (Liberia, Nigeria and Ghana). She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Howard University in Washington D.C. and Master Of Business Administration (MBA) from LeTourneau University in Texas. Wreh is Liberia’s Fashion Ambassador and was recognized as Texas Ambassador for Fashion in Africa by Houston Fashion Awards.
A fashion industry veteran, Wreh’s designs have graced celebrities like Tennis superstar Serena Williams, R&B Singers Chante Moore and Angie Stone, Houston TV News anchor Deborah Duncan, Actress Ashley Rickards, Busy Phillips and Samantha Barks, among others. Wreh’s creations have been featured in the Liberian Fashion Ambassador Showcase Washington DC, Tiffany’s Fashion Week New York, Uptown Fashion Week New York, Couture Fashion Week New York, Chicago Fashion Week, Dallas International Fashion Show, Africa Fashion Week Houston, Houston Fashion Week, D-Mars Celebration Of The Year, Alhambra Bridal Show New York, Houston Wedding Showcase, The Ultimate Wedding Showcase in New York, to name a few.
Wreh has extensive corporate experience in Finance, Compliance / Audit and IT spanning manufacturing and service operations. She is a Certified Internal Auditor. An avid traveler, Kimma has traveled extensively in the USA and internationally to countries including India, Czech Republic, Hungary, France, Scotland, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Liberia and Ghana for business and fashion.
