Monarch tasks Nigeria Consul General in NYC to treat all countrymen with equity

The monarch of Egbere Emere Okori of Eleme, Rivers State Nigeria, HRH Dr Appolus Chu has tasked the Consul General of Nigeria in New York, Benaoyagha Okoyen to treat every Nigerian as equal, regardless of tribe, religion, or status in the society.
King Chu gave this advise while on a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Embassy in New York City, United States.
The monarch, who was warmly received by the Consul and staff of Nigeria House, NYC, was in the city for a United Nations meeting.
He commended Okoyen for representing Nigeria appropriately, and prayed for more wisdom and prudence for his office to do more.
Responding, Consul General Benaoyagha Okoyen thanked the Royal Father for creating the time to visit Nigeria House, and expressed joy that King Chu was the first royalty to visit him since he assumed office.
“I feel honored by this visit and want to assure you that the Consulate under my watch will do the best for all Nigerians in the United States. It’s our primary function to do this”, he harped.
