On Saturday, April 18th Chinedu Iwuanyanwu, son of Nigerian billionaire and business mogul, Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu was joined in Holy solemnization with his lover, Obianuju Iwuanyanwu (nee Odurukwe) in Imo State, Nigeria.

Archbishop of Aba Province Most Rev. Isaac Nwaobia sealed the union with scriptural backing.

The couple, Chinedu and Obianuju’s love story gives credence to the  cliché “Love at first sight.” The two had met each other at a mutual friend’s birthday party in unlikely circumstances.  What started as an intriguing love story is what would now become a together forever affair. The Holy Solemnization that took place at the Cathedral Church of Transfiguration of our Lord, (CATOL), Owerri, Imo State with a teeming number of friends and loved ones in attendance, witnessed the presence of high-profile politicians and dignitaries in Nigeria such as; Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma,  Chief of Staff to Imo State Government Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, Imo State Commissioner of Information Chief Mbadiwe Emelumba, Minister of State for Education Hon. Emeka Nwajuba, Chief Mrs. Betty Akeredolu, wife of Ondo State Governor, amongst others.

The proud parents of the couple are Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and Princess Frances Iwuanyanwu, C.E.O The Venues Interiors ( Groom’s parents),  Sir Isidore Odurukwe  and Mrs. Edith Odurukwe  (Bride’s parents)

The two love birds, having shared their marital vows and agreed to share the next phases of their lives together were joined in holy matrimony by the officiating ministers at the ceremony, in the persons of Archbishop of Aba Province Most Rev. Isaac Nwaobia, Anglican Bishop of Ikeduru Diocese Rt. Rv Emmanuel Madubuike, and Anglican Bishop of Owerri Diocese Rt. Rev. Chukwuma Chinekezi Oparah.
