From Survivor to Graduate; Picture Tales of Ijeoma Adiuku’s Graduation Party in Maryland, USA
It was an evening of felicity for families and friends of the incredible Ijeoma Gloria Adiuku-Amaoji, whose success story has continued to inspire all who were gathered in her honour to celebrate her graduation from Nursing School from the University of Stratford on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
The occasion which was both a thanksgiving and graduation ceremony was a huge deal for the celebrant who had triumphantly scaled the hurdles of being a single mum and conquered a few health challenges to graduating nursing school with double honours.
Offering a hearty toast to the celebrant at the event, Lady Nnenna Joy Ugorji, the celebrants elder sister commended Ijeoma whom she described as “compassionate, cheerful and naturally intelligent”, for coming through “adult education, single-motherhood and some health challenges with flying colours”.
“Here’s a toast to the graduate, my baby sister, Ijeoma. We wish you many more graduations, Good health and happiness. May you live long enough to see your grandchildren grown. Cheers!” Her tribute read.
The event was graced with the presence of the presiding pastor, Mount Zion Belivers Church, the officiating minister, Pastor Mike Okere and Rev. Esonu of the All Saints Igbo Anglican Church, Maryland, USA and other distinguished fellows.
The Excel TV crew led by the CEO/Publisher, Excel Magazine International, Boniface Ihiasota were live to cover the memorable event.
