Mayor of Houston and OTC Welcome Energy Professionals to Opening Day of the Conference
HOUSTON, Texas (16 August 2021) — The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) and Sylvester Turner, Mayor of the city of Houston, are excited to welcome energy professionals from around the world to the opening day of the conference.
On Saturday, Mayor Turner attended a dinner, hosted by Houston First, with the OTC Board of Directors to discuss the upcoming conference and its importance to Houston. “Right now, all eyes are on the city of Houston to successfully lead the energy transition and demonstrate the wildcatting spirit and innovation of the energy capitol of the world,” Mayor Turner said. “OTC is an important component of this legacy and will be critical to leading the industry into the future. Though this year will look a little different, we’re excited to demonstrate our city’s ability to come together safely and responsibly.”
