Profiling Moji Taiwo, Nigerian-Canadian Inspiring Millions Around The World
The story of Moji Taiwo who is a Nigerian Canadian has continued to raise champions across the world especially with her book on not giving up, her mentorship and developmental strides.
She has also being able to successfully profile the story of an Immigrant capturing rare details in a concise manner.
Moji Taiwo is an International Author and Speaker based in Canada, not only is she accomplished, she is also an avid community organizer in Calgary, Alberta.
A retired Civil Servant, a community and an advocate for family, women and children causes, she has received numerous community and professional awards.
She authored the book “I give because I am blessed”.
She also encourages daring to be positively different while speaking about starting from the bottom to building a good life especially as a minority. She speaks about passion for service, her exemplary work ethic and her positive attitudes which inspires all to live their best life.
Moji was born in Lagos, Nigeria, West Africa. She moved to Canada in 1978. In 2018, she received the Nigerian Canadian Association of Calgary Volunteer award. In 2015, she received the “Corrections Exemplary Bar Award”.

Further recognizing her impact especially with a unique leadership, Moji won the ‘Solicitor General and Public Security Leadership Award’. She also received ‘Corrections exemplary Service Medal Award”.
She has a degree from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Diploma in Radio Arts (Broadcasting) from Lethbridge Community College.
Moji has worked at various establishments including service as Justice and solicitor General to the government of Alberta between 1984 and 2015.
She was a Deputy Director at the Young Offender Branch, Calgary young offender Centre. Between 1997 and 2003, Moji was the Unit Supervisor at the Calgary Young Offender Centre. She has worked at various levels in rehabilitating youths towards becoming better for the society.
From 2007 to 2008, she served on the Government of Alberta Supervisor certificate review team; she is also a founding member, executive member and volunteer member of Nigerian Canadian Association of Calgary. Her exploits as a wife, mother and grandmother got the attention of the congress of Black Women, Calgary Chapter volunteer Award and the Fashion Has No Borders “Every Woman Competition” Award.
The organizers noted that this award was for outstanding talents, strength, inner and outer beauty and community service.
She has also spoken at the Rotary Calgary East event where she shared her book and her story.
Moji who is a grandmother to three lovely sons has been featured on different platforms both locally and internationally.
Excel Magazine international identifies with this personality of excellence who has given Africa a positive projection and given to many young persons across the globe.
