Yemi Alade Becomes UN Goodwill Ambassador

Nigerian superstar musician, Yemi Alade has been named a goodwill ambassador to the United Nations Development program. Alade’s appointment was confirmed via the official twitter page of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The popular artiste, popularly known as ‘mama Africa’ is known not just for her musical prowess but also for her love and promotion of Africa in other endeavours.
Loved by many, this appointment is seen as a platform to further expand influence and more development in Africa by using such an influential artiste. The Ambassadors promote the UNDP’s various programs on the continent.
